This hotel is very well connected to the airport by train and is ideal for guests wanting simple accommodations in a practical location. The hotel has no a restaurant but a cozy breakfast room where you can enjoy croissants, bread, butter, jam, fruit juices and hot drinks, ideal to start the day. The whole area is characterized by a myriad of restaurants, bars and much appreciated by the Romans and that they are literally next to each other. The breakfast room is located in the basement. It is very easy, but also clean and tidy. The hotel will be closed due renovation works from the 1st February 2015 until the 31th October 2015.
The hotel takes its name from the Pyramid Cestia, archaeological treasure that is located nearby, and is within walking distance of monumental sites such as the Circus Maximus, the Colosseum and the Basilica di San Paolo. The Hotel Pyramid is located in the lively neighborhood of Testaccio trend, populated area of restaurants and entertainment, crowded by the Romans, where guests can have an unusual perspective of Rome. La Piramide metro stop is next to the hotel. The train station is adjacent Ostiense and allows easy access to the airport of Fiumicino and sites of interest outside the city.
The rooms are medium in size, moderns and comfortables. The bathrooms are in good condition although they only have a shower, tv sat, telephone and air conditioning, hairdryer (the hotel may require a deposit for the use of certain services in the Room).
This is a traditional building, in keeping with the surrounding area. The interior, however, is modern in style, with basic furniture.
There is a breakfast room in the basement. It is very basic, but again, clean and tidy.
The reception area is very small, but tidy and well kept.
